Expansion to meet demand

This week will see ForgeFix complete a further stage in our ongoing expansion program. After moving into our new offices in July last year, we have now moved our main pick and pack fulfilment centre from Whaley Bridge to Keighley in West Yorkshire.

The new facility will give us:

• More space for further expansion (we currently have £20 million worth of stock ordered with our production partners)
• A purpose-built, modern, pick and pack area
• A closer working relationship with fellow Dormole Group company Harrison and Clough (the new site is next door)
• The ability to offer you the Harrison and Clough brands in the near future

The move to our Yorkshire Fulfilment Centre will coincide with a change in carrier service. As you may know, FedEx have decided to pull out of commercial delivery in the UK, to concentrate purely on domestic deliveries. From this week your deliveries will be made by DX, who have been working with H&C closely for several years.

We’d like to say thank you to the community in Whaley Bridge, we’ve been through a lot together, not least of which was the evacuation in August 2019 when the local dam nearly collapsed. We searched long and hard for suitable premises near our Whaley Bridge site, but unfortunately nothing was available in such a rural location.

We don’t anticipate any major disruption to our service, our systems and procedures haven’t changed, and we’ve planned the move meticulously. Your area sales manager and all office contacts remain the same. We apologies in advance if there are any delivery issues.

The demand for our products and brands over the last 12 months has been way beyond what we had forecast, and the ongoing international shipping issues are well documented. We thank you for your ongoing support and patience during these challenging times. This move will allow us to further increase our stock holding and serve you well into the future.
